Local History
First National Bank "in" Howell, as it is known today; is the successor bank of a 1946 merger between The First Savings Bank (est. 1891) and First National Bank "of" Howell (est. 1920). Since then we have branched out to all of the surrounding communities and support them through a wide variety of products, services and charitable contributions.
